At the end of 2016, Chint Solar started developing solar park Midden Groningen on the outskirts of Hoogezand-Sappemeer. Landscape integration with attention to local biodiversity is paramount to us. The Midden Groningen solar park was therefore designed with input from the local residents and, in terms of species usage and design, blends in well with the existing landscape structures. The project was built and connected to the high-voltage grid in 2019 and provides sustainable energy to 32,000 households.
