Our dedicated and experienced European team started in 2016 and is developing PV projects in Germany, The Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, the United Kingdom and Hungary with headquarter based in Hamburg. Since the start we have developed 16 PV projects which are now in operation. In Portugal we realised our solar park in 2022, with multiple new projects currently in development.

Your role

For our expansion in the Portuguese market, we are looking for a seasoned and experienced Environmental Engineer to be based in our Porto office.

As Environmental Engineer, you will support the Portuguese activities and support the development and construction of our PV plants from start to the commercial operation. You will be responsible for the environmental assessment and evaluation in the development process of our projects and MV and HV overhead lines, coordinate the environmental studies, support the land scouting and ensure the environmental licensing. In addition, you will proactively advise the management on our business and participate in the local organization and decisions, considering the role and according to the background you may have.

In this role, it is important to be committed with the company strategy and values, professional and dedicated, contributing for a good work environment and team spirit. You will work closely with our local business development team and with our back office in Hamburg.

Your tasks

  • Environmental Licensing for Renewable projects, including MV and HV Overhead Lines;
  • EIA, preliminary environmental evaluations and assessments;
  • Project development support, site visits and land scouting;
  • Third parties coordination and management;
  • Support to the business Development Team and activities;
  • Documentation, Data room and contracts management;
  • Third parties procurement support,
  • Knowledge about legal procedures will be valued.

Your profile

  • Bachelor/Master Degree;
  • 5+ years working experience;
  • Experience in the energy sector is preferred;
  • Experience in environmental licensing including MV and HV overhead lines.
  • Positive, proactive and hands-on mentality;
  • Excellent in Portuguese (native) and English (spoken and written).
