Solar parks play a crucial role in the transition to sustainable energy, providing one of the most effective ways to generate clean energy. They reduce dependence on fossil fuels and, when thoughtfully designed, solar parks can create additional benefits.
Beautifully designed solar parks
Solar energy and nature can go hand in hand. We take into account the sightlines for local residents and examine the flora and fauna in the original landscape. We give space to birds, small animals, plants, and crops. In addition, we always examine the possibility of using the solar park for multiple purposes, such as sheep grazing, educational purposes or water storage.

To make the energy transition successful, we must all join forces: from investors to landowners and from local authorities to residents. Together, we must work on a future in which sustainable energy is available to everyone, everywhere.
When developing a solar park, we therefore have an open dialogue with all parties involved to map out all the requirements, possibilities, interests and wishes. When making the design, we seek advice from landscape architects, consult with the grid operator about grid connections, are in close contact with local authorities about the permit application, and take into account the input given by local residents. Only together we can achieve a solar park that enjoys the support by all relevant stakeholders.
Development process
With 30 completed solar parks with a total capacity of over 900 MWp across Europe, we bring extensive expertise in developing and realising large-scale solar projects. From site identification, design, technical planning, permitting, financing, construction (EPC), to operation – we cover the entire process. . In all our projects we take the following steps:
It starts with a location. A suitable place. We find these ourselves, but we also work with real estate agents, for example. Our location choices are a combination of a landowner who is open to the development of a solar park, integration into the landscape, local policies, and proximity to electrical infrastructure.
Based on initial sketches, landscape architects and technical engineers work towards a design that becomes the basis for the permit. Our engineering team creates the technical design: from how to arrange the panels to the route to the electricity cables and the possible installation of a special battery for temporary storage of the generated energy. We create plans for solar parks with input from all stakeholders, such as local residents, local authorities, and environmental organizations.
Once we have drafted a solid plan that is widely supported by the various stakeholders and meets all the requirements, we submit our permit application.
The granting of the permit to build the solar park is an important milestone. We then immediately start financing the project.
Our projects are constructed by a variety of experienced subcontractors. We source as many local services and products as possible from the project’s immediate surroundings. For specialist services such as building the substructure and assembling the park, we work with international players who are known for their extensive experience in this field.
Once construction is complete, the solar park is connected to the grid. It usually operates for at least 25 years. For technical and on-site maintenance, we cooperate with trusted regional companies.
