In 2025, Chint Solar, in partnership with Solarpark KS-MV GmbH & Co. KG, began construction on an agri-PV project in Finkenthal, Germany. The solar park has a capacity of approximately 5.3 MWp. Since completion, it contributes to the regional energy transition while also serving as a poultry run for agricultural use.
The photovoltaic modules are integrated directly into the poultry run, providing the animals with protection from birds of prey and ensuring safe and balanced husbandry. The project is saving approximately 2,350 tons of CO₂ annually.
