Meet Rosa, our Finance Manager

29 July 2025

Meet Rosa Losito, who is part of the Finance team and works from our headquarter in Hamburg, Germany. In this interview, she shares how she supports our international growth, what drives her work behind the scenes and how she helps shape the way we work together.

What are you most proud of in your work?

At Chint Solar, you have the freedom to challenge existing processes and actively contribute to improvements. One example of this is the structural improvements I made in our internal finance tool. I identified inefficiencies, proposed solutions and successfully implemented changes

Beyond my core responsibilities, I’m also proud to be involved in two initiatives that strengthen collaboration within the company.

The first is our Walk & Talk format. The idea came up when some colleagues who were new to Hamburg wanted to explore the city. We asked ourselves: What would we like to see if we were new here? Over time, this turned into a regular event where we go on walks or take part in other activities together. But it’s not just about the city – it’s a great opportunity to connect with colleagues outside of the office, build networks and learn about different cultures.

The second initiative is our Women’s Group. Believing that there are workplace topics that often go unnoticed – or that male colleagues might not be aware of – we created a space for open discussions and mutual support.

“Being part of these initiatives and seeing colleagues enjoy participating makes me proud – just like having the opportunity to actively shape both my work and my environment

What do you enjoy most about working at Chint Solar?

First, the industry itself: Solar energy and renewables are highly relevant and have a real impact on society. It’s exciting to work in a field that truly makes a difference – especially one that is constantly evolving and undergoing continuous change.

Second, the company culture. At Chint Solar, you should see yourself more as an entrepreneur rather than just an employee. If you have an idea, you can bring it forward – and people will listen. It’s not about who makes the suggestion, but about which idea is the best.

The international aspect is another highlight. Working with people from different countries brings a variety of perspectives.

How do you contribute to Chint Solar’s mission to energize people?

A large part of my work happens behind the scenes: I streamline financial processes and optimize workflows to ensure efficiency. Our finance team creates the financial and operational foundation that enables projects to move forward. By securing resources, managing budgets and improving processes, we give our colleagues in other departments the flexibility to focus on what matters most: bringing solar projects to life and driving the energy transition.

What challenges do you tackle in your role?

Working across multiple countries brings complexity – each market has its own regulations, financial structures and business practices. By applying insights from different regions, we can adapt best practices and establish ourselves efficiently in new markets.

What excites you most about your work?

I work closely with different departments, which gives me insight into ongoing developments and challenges. Even though I work in finance, I’m always close to the action and have the opportunity to help shape processes.

I also appreciate the personal exchange with other departments, such as Business Development and Legal. Working in an international environment – with a focus on France,Italy, UK and Hungary – makes it particularly interesting to see how different frameworks impact our work. I personally enjoy speaking several languages as well as my mother tongue Italian daily.
